Mission & Vision
We combine the urgency of cardiac response with youth empowerment. We strive to promote comprehensive heart health education and awareness, and to ensure widespread CPR training and emergency response preparedness through the youth.
A world where no life is lost to sudden cardiac death due to a lack of immediate response or intervention. By empowering youth to lead this initiative, we're creating a new generation of heart health advocates and potential lifesavers.
What We're Working Toward
Educating communities about the risks and prevention of sudden cardiac death so more people understand the urgency and act when it matters.
Training the next generation of cardiac arrest life-savers.
Strengthening community readiness through hands-on CPR training and emergency response education programs.
Championing policies that support sudden cardiac death prevention, research, and improvements to emergency response systems.
From the Field
Our Story
"What began as personal loss has grown into a youth-led mission to prevent sudden cardiac deaths in other families."
HeartStart Generation began when Arjun Gupta (14) lost his grandfather and young uncle to sudden cardiac death. His experience showed how a lack of CPR knowledge can turn a survivable event into tragedy.
He founded HeartStart Generation to promote CPR training and heart health education. Age is no barrier to impact - the next generation can and must be equipped to save lives.
